Gala Concert
6.30pm - 8.30pm Always one of the highlights of the musical year, the Gala Concert promises to be an exciting evening! There will be contributions from almost 150 students performing in our Senior Ensembles: Chapel Choir, KERBB, Concert Band, Strings, GuitarKEStra, King’s Brass, Sixth Form Choir, Middle School Choir and Piano Trio. They have been preparing an eclectic range of repertoire, which will include a massed performance (to include KES Sounds) of three movements from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. The final of the House Music Competition will also take place with the five senior finalists who won their category final (piano, strings, woodwind, brass & percussion and voice) playing / singing a solo of their choice. The final will be adjudicated by Mr Peter Adams, so expect to be impressed by some very well-polished performances from our senior soloists! We look forward to welcoming a large audience. Tickets will be in demand! A waiting list will operate in the event that the concert is sold out and tickets will be allocated in the order in which customers joined the waiting list. BOOK NOW |
